The ARSC 2020 Virtual Conference (54th Annual ARSC Conference) is approaching. The good news for all those interested is that registration is completely free on the official conference website. The conference takes place from 21 to 23 May 2020, always from 11.00 to 19.00 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT, North America), which means for participants from the Czech Republic to add six hours to the time of the selected paper.

The contribution Pioneer of Sound Industry for Czechs in the United States: The First Ethnic Recordings by Ed Jedlička by Katie Buehner and Filip Šír will be on the program on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 11:00 EDT, ie. at 17.00 our time. The contribution Transatlantic Battlefront: How the Exiled Czech Comic Duo Voskovec and Werich Continued Resistance to Nazi Occupation Via Radio by Martin Mejzr and Maristella Feustle will be on the program on Friday 22 May 2020 from 12.40 EDT, ie. from 20.40 our time.
